周波数変換を用いた視野外障害物検知システム

障害物や歩行者を検知するシステム。自動車等から電波信号を送信し、これに応じて歩行者等の保持する送受信機が送信周波数の整数倍(2倍)の信号を返信し、自動車側がこれを受信する。整数倍することで送信波と受信波の干渉を防ぐことができ、見通しが悪い場所でも歩行者を検知・測距可能となる。
