The grant for the project titled “Aum Shinrikyō and the Development of Religious Surveillance in Japan: 1995-2001” was used to progress my research on the surveillance of Aum Shinrikyō. During academic year 2022, I made one presentation about my on the topic and made progress on the draft of a related monograph. In addition to this, there are also plans to publish findings in the form of a book chapter in an edited volume in the near future.
