- With the funds awarded, I was to firmly establish the Ideology and Aesthetics Research Network, with colleagues from Oxford, NYU, Athens, FU Berlin and others. Started a website, youtube channel and mailing list for the network. The Youtube channel currently has over 100 subscribers, and the mailing list a simialr amount.The network wil have hosted three public lectures so far, the first hosted by myself and my co-author and collaborator Christos Asomatos, the second by Professor Todd McGowan, and third by Professor Timo Mueller. The lectures were well attended, and generated a significant amount of discussion and engagement.One publication 'The Ideological Aesthetic', which comes from the work of the network - will be published in the journal Angelaki in May 2023.Other funds were used to hire a research associate, Zefan Sramek, who is a computer science PhD student at Todai - to work on the emerging Digital Humanities component of my research, which invovles devising a computer algorithm in Python.
