- This study shed light on the considerations for diversity of identity, in the context of restructuring "development paradigm," The study revisited conceptual foundations for the sustainable development goals (SDGs), which took over the previous international development goal of millennium development goals (MDGs) (2000-2015) since 2015, through academic debates among scholars with different backgrounds. One of the notable outputs on this topic was the international conference, entitled "One Road, One Belt Inititative: European Response and Capitalism Reconsidered," (please see the linkhttps://www.waseda.jp/inst/oris/news/2022/12/15/4646/) , where researchers and policy-makers from Europe (EU), China, Japan and Africa (Senegal) debated the topic. Conference papers and journal articles on the topic are forthcoming for publication in 2023.
