研究成果概要
This research will extend existing Kakenhi research and outputs to address the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on middle-aged and older adults physical activity and health. It was also track the effect of the Olympic and Paralympic Games on public health legacies, including population physical activity levels before and after the events and changes to public infrastructure and sports facilities. 
Outputs of the research will include reports and presentations that use longitudinal data to track changes in behavior and potential effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. These data will help to inform public health interventions that aim to support and promote physical activity in aging societies like Japan.
