- I presented my current research project titled “Job Search, Job Findings and the Role of Unemployment Insurance History” to the following workshop and international conferences: Keio-Waseda Joint Macroeconomics Workshop, the European Economic Association–The Econometric Society’s European Summer Meeting (EEA–ESEM) Joint Congress (hosted by the University of Copenhagen), the Asia Meeting of the Econometric Society (hosted by Curtin University), and the China Meeting of the Econometric Society (hosted by ShanghaiTech University). My project received many useful and instructive comments and suggestions during my presentation sessions from these conferences. I had later used them to improve and revise my draft for this project, particularly the modelling part, so that it will be appropriate to be submitted for the consideration of publication at a high-impact journal afterwards. Additionally, I also started a new research project titled “Automation with Search Frictions: Worker Displacement and Worker Complement” where I study the optimal policy regarding automation of routine tasks when the labour market is imperfect in terms of job search.
