Based on microfluidic engineering developed in our laboratory, multiplex interfaces between specific multiple source reagents can be formed in micro channels. These flows enable functional chemical synthesis which is difficult in conventional methods. Actual synthesis of azo complex using micro droplet was realized in short time under the temperature and pH control free conditions. For bromine addition reaction, a multiplex pillar array micro flow device was applied. Using iron modification of the pillar surfaces, double addition reaction of Br was confirmed. Miniaturization of micro droplet have been continued to achieve analysis of micro scale targets in biological cells.
