本研究課題は、グローバリゼーションの動態を明らかにすることを目的として、地域産業の越境的な活動とその関係性の変化を分析することを目的としている。グローバルな視点で地域産業をめぐる環境や関係の変化を中心に分析を行うものである。陶磁器生産が持続的に発展した地域における陶磁器業をめぐる環境の変化、海外市場への編入の影響について分析を行っており、今年度は、複数の地域の比較分析を通じて、各地域の地域的特性とその要因について検討し、分析の結果をまとめた。本研究に関連して理論・分析上の方法論をめぐる議論の基盤となるグローバル研究に関する理論的考察を学会にて報告した。

This study analyzes the dynamics of relations in regional industrial manufacturing sectors in modern Japan in the context of globalization. It comparatively analyzes activities as well as the relations of porcelain manufacturing and distribution from the late 19th century to the early 20th century in Japan. It examines how the activities of manufacturing and distributing porcelains and the relations of those who were engaged changed in the process of integration of the global markets. It examines the regional differences in the manufacturing and distributing porcelains, including the major agents, strategies, and the sources of funding. It also surveys how the pre-existing practices and relations shaped the ways of organizing resources for producing and distributing porcelains in each region. The researcher presented the paper in conference and also drafted articles for academic journals.
