研究成果概要

This  project  proposes  a  novel  content  dissemination  model  which  can  adapt  power  consumption  of  network nodes  to  the  optimized  utilization  level  proportionally.  The  cross-layer  power  adaption  is  conducted  through adjusting  link  rate  dynamically  according  to  the  content  popularity  to  reduce  wasteful  power  consumption  of content nodes. Moreover, we propose an intelligent caching scheme, in which the caching portion is adjusted based on the content popularity and available space of each node. Regarding the Network slicing architecture, each slice provides a dedicated networking solution that matches specific applications. Particularly, each slice has  single  or  multiple  services,  and  the  UE  (User  Equipment)  can  attach  to  multiple  slices  and  request  the creation of a slice for real-time services like live event streaming. To enable dynamic content delivery and VNF (Virtual Network Function) allocation, the network-slicing framework realizes slice stitching mechanism which allows one slice to interact with another slice via multi-domain orchestration with scalable slice management.
