研究成果概要

This year I focused mostly on photonic computing technologies.  This included off and on-chip computing solutions. I believe that this technology has the power to improve our computing capabilities by at least 5x compared to electrical counterparts. 

The research resulted in 1 completely published work, one work that has been submitted, and one work that has a submission deadline next month.  The finished work is about porting the on-chip photonic technology and adapting it to be used in off-chip networks.  This work was then extended by the ICC paper, which is already submitted, by exploring the benefits of different topologies which use the architecture.  The final paper is for a 3D routing algorithm for fault-tolerant and thermal-aware Photonic NoCs.
