An instructional support system was developed for piano performance instruction that trains the user on proper hand position by using myoelectric stimulation in the wrist area through tracking sensors that determine if the hand is in the proper position on the keyboard. The myoelectric stimulation device uses PossessedHand to control hand form. It has 28 non- erosive pad-type electrodes positioned around the wrist to provide myoelectric stimulation to the fingers. Leap Motion was used for the hand tracking sensors. By using this system, students can correct their hand position even when students and instructors are not in the same room. This suggests that e-learning is possible, even for content that requires verbalization and visualization such as the movements used in playing a musical instrument. The result was submitted to IEEE Transaction on Learning Technologies
