研究成果概要

Japanese language and subject support for JSL students is currently an issue. Aspiring to offer concrete proposals to this situation, I implemented research in with an elementary school in Sumida Ward, and a learning support class in Hamamatsu City. In the elementary school, we created a “learning record” from the learning state of the JSL children and shared it among the staffs. In the Japanese classroom, we wrote the utterances and actions of the children learning math. we could extract some concepts, mathematical terms, and definitions that were difficult to understand for the JSL children. In the enrolled class, we recorded the children’s struggle points. In the campus research, I was aware to reflect on the implementation. By doing this, the homeroom teacher could grasp the actual condition of the children in the Japanese classroom, which led to support in the enrolled classes. In Hamamatsu City, although I actualized the interview survey for the supporters, I have not been able to implement it as a survey, as there is a possibility of a system change. As I was able to visit four times as a lecturer, I will continue my relationship and research also after the next fiscal year.
